Scanrow ("we", "our", or "us") was designed with privacy as its primary engineering requirement. All OCR text recognition, table boundary clustering, and spreadsheet file compilation are executed on your device using Google ML Kit on-device machine learning.
Scanrow does not upload your documents, invoices or spreadsheets. They leave your device only when you export or share them. Buying Pro needs an internet connection, which goes through Google Play.

The photos and PDF page images behind your scans are kept in the app's private storage so you can compare a table with its original. Deleting a saved scan deletes its images, and images from scans you never save are removed automatically after about a day.
If the app hits an error, it records the error type and technical stack trace on your device. This log contains no scans or table contents and is only sent if you choose Share diagnostic report in Settings.
All scanned tables, multi-sheet workbooks, and scan histories are stored in your device's private SQLite database. You can delete any saved record at any time in the app. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data.
Google ML Kit reads images on your device. Google's ML Kit disclosure lists diagnostic data the SDK sends to Google over HTTPS: device model and OS version, app package and version, a per-installation identifier, performance metrics, image format and size settings, and error codes. Google's list does not include images or recognized text. We do not receive this data and cannot access or delete it. See the ML Kit Android data disclosure.
Payment information is processed directly by Google LLC (Google Play Store). We never collect or store your billing address, credit card numbers, or bank account details.
Scanrow is a productivity tool intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the App does not ask for anyone's age. The Google ML Kit diagnostic data described in section 5 is sent in the same way for every user.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information, for example by emailing support, contact us and we will delete it.
